Welcoming new talent to our team often means welcoming a supporting partner to the province.
The Human Resources team is pleased to offer job support for the partners of those we hire, who have been affected by relocation. If you are a partner of a newly hired IWK employee, we will meet with you face to face, review your resume and then get you started by alerting our network of contacts within the region that you have arrived and are ready to get to work!
“I was so pleased with the consistent support and networking opportunities I received from the IWK in finding work in my field. The assistance was invaluable when coming to a new area and not knowing many people. It made the transition to Halifax so much smoother.” – Justin MacLean, Civil Engineer, newly hired at OSCO Construction
“My partner having the opportunity to find work was paramount in our decision to move to Halifax. The program put him in touch with those who could further facilitate attaining work in his field. I'm very pleased with my experience and happy with our choice." – Allison MacLellan, Social Worker, MH&A Team
We want to ensure you feel supported as you start this new chapter and making new connections can start things off on the right foot!Share
